I have a short pitch about a knight that tries to steal an legndary item to a sea god. The god himself found out and punished him. The knight was change in an abomination that he had to protect during thousands years the sea god treasures. Now he is finally free, but he is still in that monstuous apparence, enable to change or die peacefully. He roves into seas, explore and hope to find a new way to "live".

This creature has lovecraft and DnD vibes. The angry sea god was really cruel with him and destroys his intern organs. He is like an undead mutate being. He is an absurd mix of sea animals.
I have selected an octopus, a crab and coelacanth. Those animals descended of antics ancesters that conquers all seas and oceans and have great ways to survive. The crab shelter is defensiv strategy. I replace armor parts on the arms. The octopus is smart, fast, and flexible. Then the coelacanthe is persistant to deep water and can quickly change direction.

Then i decided the knight doesn't want someone to see his hideous face so he is covering it with an helmet found inside the sea god place.
With the time, his armor fell down piece by piece so he create primitive clothes with seaweeds.
