Halloween. A special night that only comes by once a year. The only time of night kids and adults alike would dress up in costumes and go door-to-door getting candy from people. But for some others, this is a night where they can host and throw a massive party for people to gather and mingle with one another. This was the case for two young ladies, with one of them receiving an invitation for two in the mail that they were formally invited to. For the superheroine Isabel, who came from a wealthy family that had a lot of good connections, this was something that she had gotten invites to on more than one occasion. Only this time, she was able to bring a friend along. In the end though, the circumstances didn’t matter for them, as they were able to go to the party together. But as the two friends were about to enter the front gates where the party was being held, Isabel’s phone started to ring, making her check what it was for. When the Superheroine checked the message, her expression showed concerned, and sadness.


Isabel: Awww man.


Connie: What’s wrong, Isabel?


Isabel: It’s an urgent message. And it’s unfortunately for hero work.


Connie: But……but we had plans to have fun tonight.


Isabel: I know, Connie. I’m really sorry about this. But I cannot ignore my duties as a Superhero.


Connie: I know you can’t. It still sucks that this had to come at the worst time.


Isabel: I’m really sorry, Connie. But hey, try to have fun here without me, okay?


Not wanting to make her friend feel more down because of the urgent message, Connie put on a smile for Isabel.


Connie: Alright. I’ll do what I can here.


Isabel: Thanks Connie. Let me know how things went tomorrow. Have fun!


Answering the call, Isabel began to make her way to the city, leaving Connie to attend the party on her own.


Connie: Well, better see what this place has. Hopefully I can keep myself busy.


Not wasting anymore time, Connie made her way to the large home, following the many others who were invited to the party.
