Jess as my big sis? A casual playtime? That could be LOTS of fun! Though I think ANY time spent with her would be very enjoyable really, no matter what we were doing.

Aw, that sucks. I've got several commissions that have been delayed for quite some time now. A couple for the best part of a year now. With one of them the artist told me that it was essentially finished. I know artists have lives and problems of their own and I do try my best to be patient and understanding. As long as they communicate with me and don't just vanish I'm willing to wait for quite a long time. But it can be frustrating when there's something you really want to see done. Here's hoping.

Yes, you and I are both waiting on the same artist for pictures, you may have noticed. One that hasn't communicated at all. But the one I'm referring to with Jess is another artist yet, who likewise hasn't been communicative. Like you, I don't mind a wait, even a long one, as long as I have some idea what is going on. But silence is NOT golden is this case.
Maybe I'll just do an end run and work out something else. :) I've been worshiping Jess from afar for way too long!

Oh, so far I've been very happy with every picture I've had done of her. As with Niamh and Ciara, they've brought her to life in the special way that art can and everyone has done a great job at interpreting the ideas I've had for her. I really like how happy and relaxed she looks in this picture, too. I like to occasionally commission a piece or two that shows different emotions, even negative ones, to keep things interesting, but I really do like cheery pictures like this best of all.
