A painting inspired by how women in the 1800’s used to fucking swallow DRIED TAPEWORM EGGS as an early version of a weight loss pill. Yep, having parasites make you lose weight so you can look pretty! Faasafsdf.
It made me think about how today and how some models gets ribs removed and do nothing but drink water so they can be thin and ‘pretty’. To me, the absurdity of beauty has existed forever, it’s just evolved from swallowing tapeworms to buying 200 dollar pats of cream and getting deadly poison injected into your face.
I’ll work on getting a better photo, but this was a funnnnnn painting to do!

Ah. The lengths to which people will go to achieve the preconcieved notion of beauty as exaggerated by overtly fake portrayals mass produced by the media.
The pain of this struggle, you have captured stomach-churningly well in this grand painting. Excellent work. I especially love the oppressive creep factor as they drip and ooze from the extra white paint.

Thank you so much :> And What's even more horrible is that beauty isn't even 'real'. It's all photoshoped, and I know, because I worked on doctoring model photo's before. So women and men are making themselves sick over things that doesn't even exist.
