Chiara Oscuro has goals. She wants to be a famous wicked witch and show those old crones back home what for. They all think she's too young and unskilled to make a name for herself. They wanted her to stick with her apprenticeship for another decade or so, but she wasn't gonna keep putting up with that.
When she had a chance encounter with a princess, she thought it was a great opportunity to really show them what she could do. Once they heard how she'd changed the princess into a toad, they'd be green with envy! Well, even more green, anyway.
Only . . . she must have got the spell wrong.
