It was little Yosh E. O'Ducky's birthday, and that meant that everyone sang Happy Birthday to him at the daycare, and he got to choose his favourite song at music time, too!

"I call birthdays Star Days," he explained to the other cubs, "Because that's the day when the same stars are shining on you as the day you were born! And because my mommy calls me her little star..." he added with a giggle and blush.

Zee-Zee, meanwhile, was thinking hard. He wanted to do something special for his friend, but he didn't know what. He paced around the playroom with a frown, with a nagging feeling that something was stopping him from applying his full cleverness to the problem, but also that therein lay the key to his whole dilemma...

Suddenly, he squeaked "Kazootles!" and crossed his legs tightly. "That's it! Potty! Gotta go potty!" he chirped, grabbing a passing grown-up and dragging her quickly to the little boys' room with him.

Little cubs who remember to use the potty without being reminded get a gold star sticker to stick on the wall chart! And so, as soon as Zee-Zee had finished his business, he hopped up, flushed, tucked his shirt into his pull-up, grabbed the sticker from the caretaker's paw and shuffled away at top speed before she could even say "What a clever big squirrel!" or maybe "Don't forget to pull your shorts up!" to find his birthday yoshi-ducky friend!

Yosh belongs to  Yosh-E-O, and it's his Star Day tomorrow! ^.^
