Warden Adoptables (CLOSED)
Both of these are up for adoption! A bit expensive because I worked hard on them and I love them (Especially the first one, if it doesn't sell within a few days, it's MINE. Which... I've already accepted the fact that I'll be keeping both of these cause nobody gives a fuck about my adopts lmfao)
The lore is something I came up with at random, BUT! You don't have to keep it! You can, of course! It's just a little flavor text to give some character ideas with these two.
The Phantom of the Deep:$150 MINE SORRY... I decided to keep her. I just couldn't part with this pretty girl. xD I love her lore and design too much
One of the oldest wardens alive, she was already old when the first ancient city was built, and she served as the guardian of the city from the time the first settlers went down there. She is peaceful in demeanor. A big part of this is due simply to age.
This warden is damn near 16 feet tall, which, together with the impressive shoulder growths, reveal just how old they really are. Wardens never stop growing over their lives, even if it's incredibly slow once they reach their mature size at around 10-12 feet tall. Their shoulder growths get longer and thicker as they age as well. They are truly ancient. She is covered in scars beneath her fur, though the only ones visible through the fur are the ones on her face, gained through a vicious territorial battle against another warden ages ago.
She is known as the Phantom of the Deep because those who have gone deep enough to encounter her near the ancient city she once guarded because her pale coat practically glows against the darkness behind her in the light of a lantern or torch. The way she can move softly and silently despite her size, and the way she tends to simply slip away out of sight instead of attacking. She can be approached safely, but will give you a warning growl if you move too close or make too much noise. If you are quiet and respectful, however, you can observe her safely.
Blue Galaxy: $75
A snappy young warden, equivalent to 14 or 15 years old. Unfortunately, they had to go out and find their own territory far too early after their dam was killed by human trophy hunters.
They are as aggressive and territorial as any other warden. They are still trying to find their own territory, but have so far had trouble getting a foothold, as other suitable places already have a warden there and they are too young to properly fight off an older, stronger, more experienced one. Because of their bad experience with humans causing them to have to find a new territory younger than they were ready, this warden actually fears humans, though this comes out as aggression. Even so, if they catch sight of a human, they try to scare them off and escape somewhere safe rather than actually fight them after seeing their mother get overrun and killed, with their head taken as a trophy. Killing a warden gives no benefit... they have nothing of use, but they are powerful, and big, and dangerous. And humans like to hunt big and powerful and dangerous things just because they can.
If you show them you don't intend any harm, it is possible to gain their trust. Like any warden, they will leave you alone if you leave them alone, and won't actively hunt you down unless you invade their territory. Unlike most wardens, however, this one is more likely to run away. They will growl and roar and charge, but if it comes down to an actual fight, they flee.
