His true form is a wolf-sized badger, but he will take a more humanoid guise when duty forces him to socialize.

He works as a Pact Enforcer for the Amarylth Fey Court. The job's duties are floating, so sometimes he'll find himself working as
a bouncer at esteemed events
wardening the court's glades and keeping out trespassers
or even out recruiting new warlocks
but his primary job is working as a "body guard" for warlocks of particular interest to the court. While attending them in a protector role, his actual agenda is to make sure they aren't skimping out of their pact duties ^w^;

Mercotte is often stationed with Arden Rehyd when on the job, as the two work a good cop / bad cop angle. Mercotte's gruff and abrasive demeanor is great for intimidation. Of course this is only skin deep, however. Beneath the layers of Mercotte's crotchety crust, the badger has a tender core full of vulnerability and caring <3 (or, at least that's what Arden claims)
