NoodleDragon was going on about art quality in his most recent journal. http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/2170121/Well he mentioned "horrible shit" as the "level" of skill that one should just not post until one's skill level has been bumped up to "isn't Garbage." I find this to be... well sort of insulting. Largely cause when I was starting out as an artist, I found that drawing was fun and nothing I drew looked like "horrible shit." course your mileage may vary as I was happy to be good at something for once.
Thus I made this. I decided to draw as badly as I could manage and work up from there. 13 steps beginning from "god awful" to "Looking pretty spiffy there." I couldn't think of any other poses to use so I used the standard muscled fur with arms at the side stance. why? because I can remember seeing some particularly poorly drawn pics using this particular stance.
to clarify, this isn't my native style. I decided to just screw around with what was on the page and develop it as I saw fit. I didn't include a few muscles on the neck, I omitted drawing horns or wings or legs or belly buttons or snout details for the most part. The eyes I think I pulled from full metal alchemist, I'm not quite sure.
I guess one could view this as a "TAKE THAT!" to
NoodleDragon seeing as one of the frames does resemble his style in passing. That sort of came out of nowhere, I wanted to pull in some random style elements from other places and it just so happened to look like his style. I appologize for this in advance. I really shouldn't talk about skill as I'm still far from the likes of
Blotch or
Myenia in terms of ability.
