Yuri joined in the Siwa war as he wanted his forge back after he was forced to abandon it, more importantly his Anvil as he made it himself with Divine Resources he got from Paradise before his exile. He also wanted to get his forge back as it was a gift to him from Queen Aya and King Yami and his first home.
He managed to get to his forge within Siwa, much to his anger, some Dark Gator Pirates trashed, even sullying his anvil. The Commander of this was a Blastoise whom he challenged.

Despite being a Rock/Ground type, Blastoise's water attacks had no effect on his, even when hiding in his shell, it was no match for Yuri's hammer after he got flattened. After folding him and wearing him as a diaper, he began to target the others and forced them out of his forge. He decided to hold onto the Blastoise for awhile as he needed to to get his forge running again to aid the Allied Kingdoms.

As he was cleaning his anvil, the Blastoise was annoyed saying Kroko will find him, but Yuri mocked him saying Kroko gonna lose now that his forge is back in business.
