I put a bit of extra elbow grease into this one because I knew this was such a fun idea once I came up with it! I also have always been a fan of quirky cartoony shit like this. My childhood is mostly made of of animated franchises like Madagascar and Ice Age XD
Also, Sarbo’s “Whoo-ee!” was inspired by the comedic acting style of Slim Pickens who you may know from classic films (at least in the US) like Dr. Strangeglove and Blazing Saddles. Fun fact about Slim, he used to be an actual cowboy and rodeo clown until one day when he was signing up for the Air Force army, they asked him about his previous work experience and he said “Rodeo” and they misheard him and thought he said “Radio”, so they put him to work at a military radio station in the Midwest, and he realized how much he enjoyed it! Eventually his radio experience got him into show biz! I just can’t help but love that story lol.
