October 16 marks the 31 years Miles "Tails" Prower debuted in the Sonic series, with the 8-bit (Sega Master System) version of Sonic 2, which surprisingly came first before the more well-known 16-bit (Sega Mega Drive/Genesis) version, and since he was 4 years old in his debut, that means he's turned 35, though he's canonically still 8 years old. So, here's my tribute to my favourite Sonic character of all, and he's showing his pride as he stands by the Canadian flag. In my headcanon, Miles Evan Prower, alias Tails, was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on October 16, 1988. He is the son of Michelle Rosemary (née Couture) and Robert "Bobby" Amadeus Prower, and he possibly has a younger sibling. As a toddler, Tails' parents left him on a remote island somewhere in the Pacific while fleeing from being roboticised by Dr. Eggman, and it was there where he began an adventure of his own (Tails' Adventure) before his eventual meetup with his future best friend Sonic. His father was born in London, England, while his mother is Canadian. Tails is of one-quarter Jewish descent from his father, with the rest of his ancestry being English and Brazilian-Protestant. He even mentions how his father stated that from his English roots, he has descended from an outlaw of the late 12th century who robbed the rich to feed the poor, and from a seafaring girl of the mid-18th century who used to work for a group of ruthless pirates before defecting to a crew on an expedition to search for a mysterious treasure (I'm sure some of you guys might get these references, if you can, heheh ).
