i use ableton! this song is mostly sample based but i did synthesise the bassline with layerings of phase plant

ah x3 an Ableton fluffer then :P I'm an FL studio nut who gets lost when making patches on hardware synths.

if you struggle to learn much about analog and FM synthesis I can recommend trying the world of hardware synthesizers ^^ having physical knobs and sliders certainly helped me understand both FM and analog subtractive synthesis quite a bit more than Dexxed and synth1 could ^^
