“When I choose to see the good side of things, I am not being naive. It is strategic and necessary. It’s how I learned to survive through everything. I know you see yourself as a fighter. Well, I see myself as one too. This is how I fight.” - Waymond Wong, Everything Everywhere All At Once. The art is a recreation of that one famous scene. I could watch the whole movie, just for this moment. I sat on this art for a while before posting this one as it has feels for me I don’t want misinterpreted. This was not vent art or anything like that. Just a moment that resonated with me.
Waymond reminds me of how I had to restructure my own thinking over many years to adapt. I try to have more likes than dislikes. I try to forgive. But most of all I try to be kind.
