I didn't know if I should post this. It's kinda mean spirited and it's really obscure unless you're a fan, but I think it's funny.
Seriously. Don't sue me or haxxor my megabits. I'm really a nice guy.

If you aren't a fan, let me enlighten you. The owners of Penny Arcade, Jerry Holkins and Mike Krahulic, early on in the lifetime of PA, sold their comic. Twice. They just handed their rights away to two bit hucksters, taken in by the promises of dot com millionaire status. That's why the "Please don't sue," message is in there.
Sounds like the guy who copywrited "Cartoon Fantasy Organization" And tried charge groups to use the name(like CFO-Atlanta)...Except he didn't think people were smart enough to come up their own name(which they DID)and all He ended up with was a name & change for the subway...!
Seriously, I've met them. They're pretty cool and don't care when people use their characters for humor- they'd probably mind if you put them in furry porn though...
But yeah, I asked them permission to use 'em in a comic and they said "Sure, thanks for actually asking!"
Nice guys ^_^

I know how nice they are. While I haven't met them in person, I have corresponded with Jerry a few times. We talked about his band (Tell no one, but I like 'English' and 'Strawberry Jam.') and on one occasion a long time ago, (November of 2000) I asked them to link to my webcomic. The newspost on it no longer exists, but they did indeed link my strip and Tycho waxed poetic about my comic for a few sentences. They totally Wanged Keenspace for the better part of a day, maybe a bit more. Being new to the phenomena, and being unaware of their philosophy of persistent news, I asked them to link me again a few days later.
