On a Friday the 13th of October, some years ago
"This blasted ancient technology!" Dr. Serum cried. He kicked over a table and the sound echoed through stone halls around him.
"It takes three days to make my creatures in these pods, and they keep trying to wake up!"
Just then there was a resonating sound of a fist pounding on glass next to him. He looked over to see one of hybrid creatures fighting the liquid environment.
"Oh not again!" the old scientist shuffled over to get more anesthetic.
Just then the glass started to crack, and the creature's hand shot straight through! Glass and medium burst forward and the creature jumped through with a hiss.
Before he could react, it had jumped around, prying open two more pods.
"Looks like it's time for phase 2!" Dr. Serum said to himself, and quickly disappeared behind a moving bookcase.
