decided to clean up the floor and give the slugs a more civilised way of dining.

they eat cat food.
and they're not really pets. They live under the house and would sneak out at night to get the cat's food.
Unfortunately they were in danger of being stepped on in the night because they were right outside the bathroom.
So I gave them their own water and kibble just outside the hole they emerge from under a table where they would all be safe.
Some of the larger slugs are so used to being handled I can pick them up without them tucking their heads in.
and they're not as big as the pic suggests. the bowl is a little one for soy sauce :)
