*laughs... I don't mess with them, but I find spiders to be good neighbors... God knows the mosquitos have a feast every morning when I feed the raccoons... 'Go Get'em Spiders!'

They also a special place spiritually... but also, outside X-P
That said, I've walked into more than 1 massive field orb spider. Found a banana spider close up while kayaking this past january in the mangroves. yick.

we used to get a lot of banana spiders in the yard... they were massive looking but never bothered anyone...

I read it's pretty harmless... I still didn't enjoy it inches from my face in a mangrove stand O_____O hahaha
