Revamp-Tober Day 11: Royalty
For October I'm challenging myself to take an old OC who needs a redesign or just some attention and giving them a fresh new look each day! See the full prompt list here!
Day 11: Royalty
I couldn't not revamp my baby boy Itztli for this prompt! Because while his visual design wasn't too bad, oh boy, his character was kind of a mess. I made him in high school for a DA rp group with some of my friends, and while he's very dear to my heart and one of my absolute favorite characters, I've been wanting to do a big overhaul on him for quite a while. I'm not even going to worry about explaining the problems I had with his old character, and will just explain a little bit of what he's like now.
He's the child emperor of Ulotli- a desert country of animal folk. He was abruptly forced to take the throne far too young, and the council of elders appointed to train and guide him have mainly only shaped the boy to be their puppet- shaping Ulotli to their liking. Itztli is kept fairly isolated as a result- but he's not alone. He was born with an innate connection to the lingering spirits still in the world of the living, and he's kept company by the spirits of his ancestors. They've been training him in secret for the time when he's old enough to fully take back control of his throne and do away with the corrupt council members- but the question is, does following his ancestors' leads make him any less of a puppet?
