That always confused me about the wicked witch. Your body is like 90% water- so she is almost entirely made up of the thing that she is so weak to that it actually kills her? What? Wouldn't her own spit dissolve her tongue? How are her eyes not melting since her tears are just saltwater? What if she tried to like, kidnap someone who was really sweaty? Would their sweat melt her hands?!
I assume it has to be straight-up plain water, but even then, my question as a kid was always "How does she bathe?", and looking back, an even better question would be "Does she magically sustain herself and not need to drink?" In fact, even better question still, why was that bucket of water even there? Hell, did it melt her specifically because of who chucked it at her, maybe acting as an extension of Glinda's protective magic over Dorothy? Who knows, we may never get the true answer. :V
In context to the wizard of oz movie, you can play it off as “convenient bad guy weakness”.
Nowadays, you can play it off as the idea of plain water being “pure” and coming into contact to something evil or the exact opposite of “pure”. That would also be a work around to how stuff like sweat, murky water, etc. wouldn’t have the same effect on the witch.
I’m overthinking it over hot green titty witch art, but it’s fun to see how speculate on stuff like that!

I think she was weak to water because the author of the "Wizard of Oz" books intended for them to be the American equivalent of classic European Fairy Tales (like "Rumpelstiltskin" or "Sleeping Beauty") and as such the villain of the story had to conform more or less to the "rules" found in those earlier narratives.
Of course, a more Doylist answer would be "they needed a way to kill the witch so they could end the story, and a water pail was both cheap and convenient", to say nothing on how THE WHOLE OZ SEQUENCE WAS A DREAM, and that means that the world of Oz more or less runs on dream logic.

Love the Halloween colors and the background slice you did here, and those punk witch vibes. The spiked boots are such a nice touch, as are the rest of the spiked bands she's wearing. Love what a good pinup this is while she's still fully clothed, the way the patterning of her clothing really helps show off the contours to her lovely thick thighs and the shirt really frames that cleavage so nicely.
