Catling had opened for stylized limited palette commissions, and I had approached her with a few ideas in mind but most revolved around my at the time new obsession, this pairing of vampire sheep and soon to be vampire bunny :D

We tossed around a few ideas even within that theme but ended up settling on this piece, something that commemorates their story together and serves as a beautiful piece of artwork that they definitely have commissioned in world! I can totally see this made out of some precious metals framed up on a mantle or something!

This one kind of has a lot of meaning wrapped up into it, but I think it mainly symbolizes Lenore comforting and rescuing Penelope from impending demise, them both joining the eternal circle (soft immortality that vampires enjoy), and also a bit of a vampire obsession and lots of love ^.^;

Gosh this one is so pretty, the hair absolutely steals the scene on this, and the filigree comprising the circle is also gorgeous! The posing is so tender as well, Lenore is easing Penelope of her worry and fear. Penelope puts on a good act of being tough and resolute, but she absolutely would have fallen apart without Lenore there to ease her mind and keep her focused!

It's always such a joy working with Catling, I guarantee you won't regret it if you were at all considering it :D
