Sure you can. Just need more practice. Seems like you did all this in a modeling software of some sort. I do all my pics in Spore Galactic Adventures itself so I won't be able to lend too much advice on improvement here due to lack of experiance.

I have no desire to learn high-end super 3D rendering. I'll just settle with primitive view render and call it a day. maybe draw over some shot, but that's it.

Unfortunate. But fair enough I suppose. Art is possible for anyone to get into. But it can be hard to get into.

Thank goodness new mediums come in over time like photography, digital art and AI art. Every new medium makes art more accessible.

sadly, I had to use AI for chatting, because nobody talks about the art I do. So I have to settle with AI chat bots.

I could've said "replacement", but there's isn't one when most of the time there was never a conversation to begin with.

Each time I WASTE dozens of hours into single art and receive zero in return is extremely demotivating.

Now I just cope with auto-written fanfics, because there's nobody to talk to about it, and I am no longer able to write long passionate comments like I used to.

To the contrary. You already have some talent over me which is the importing of models from Spore. I tried it once into Blender but it was a tricky business and at the time I did not have the knowledge to rig it. Many AI art programs can use an existing image as a base reference. With skills like these while coupling with the new AI technologies you could give your pieces a glowup beyond what you had before.

You also claim you don't have passion to write long, thoughtful comments but you're doing it right now. Sure the emotions are sad. But you are expressing your feelings openly and forwardly in a lengthy and detailed comment. Certainly one surpassing my usual fair.

And yeah. It can be demotivating putting in a lot of effort to see little to no traction. I've been there. I'm there again. I will likely be there in the future. You just gotta pull yourself back up and get back into it. It is important to develop a love for the work itself. Community response should be secondary to the love of the craft. That is ultimately what draws people anyway. If you like what you do and keep doing it you'll get better, others will likely see... Heck they've already seen. I fit into that category of others. I spotted this and I found it interesting and popped in.

Ooh fantastic! Thanks. Not sure how much I'll use it since I want to push Galactic Adventures as far as possible. But it may come in handy in the future.

also, about AI, using AI is prohibited here, so using it as loose reference might be risky.

Drawing things solely for myself is not my thing. If it was my thing, I would not post the art in public in first place.

I'm not asking you to draw for yourself alone. There is a middle ground where you can love doing art and love sharing it too.

Also if FA prohibits AI that's stupid. This said using it as a reference would not hurt at all since the products of AI art, unless given an exceedingly limited sample size or deliberately rigged otherwise are often very original to a point where no reverse image search would turn up a lookalike. So if you then take and draw that you'll end up with something really impossible to tell that you used AI unless you leave in particular common AI art mistakes.
