I've done that a few times. Spilled tea or soda on sketches, sneezed on one, sweated on two or three of them in the summer when it was REALLY hot, and once knocked over a bottle of soda on my tablet over a span of like six years. I swear, it's like, not that occasional of a spill but man traditional stuff sure is unsafe and makes things more sad to see something ruined that way =C

Yeah, I totally agree. Its much more disturbing to watch soda spill on your art basically reducing it to slop..

Surely a drink tucked in there wouldn't have room to spill... I demand this cup holding idea be tested! =D

It's so much worse after you traditionally ink something and watch it get wet. First the pencil marked areas blur and smudge, then the ink bleeds.... Now whenever I'm working on something I place it as far as I can (which is why I'm so bloody thirsty when I work on stuff D= ).

This is why my soda is at a different table near me. :3

During a game of Dungeons and Dragons, the player next to me spilled their red soda all over my drawing.

Months later I found the same drawing. The stain was....blue. O.o

Holy crap!? How'd it turn blue? O_o

I have no idea. My best guess would be it blued blue beause of bacteria, or the soda rotting for months.
