Day 9: Fan Character

Riff the 'Raffe is a FnaF OC I made after one of my friends asked me to make a character to interact with her FnaF OCs that she made for Security Breach. His original design was just the giraffe head with an extendable neck, who would travel around the pizzaplex via pneumatic tubes and pop out of ports in the walls to give the effect that his neck was so long he could stretch all over the building. His job was to fetch discarded items for the lost and found and help return things to their owners whenever he could. Aside from working together to design Riff however, my friend and I never did anything else with the character.

Riff's redesign was pretty drastic in some ways and tame in others. For starters- he's got a body now! And a new coat of paint so he's less "glamrock" and has a shirt to lean more into a little bit of a 50s vibe. I picture him as being repurposed from the pizzaplex to instead perform at a smaller, 50s themed roller rink and arcade alongside some other characters me and one of my other friends have. c: He runs the prize counter, and prefers to stretch his extendable neck to reach things rather than walk around because he's really not used to having a body. I also never actually drew more than a sketch of this dude before, so it was interesting to come up with a color palette for him!
