Here we have Gothenburg, Sweden on (what I’ve come to know as) K-Day, the day the Kitsune Cult launched their attack on the rest of the world. (K-Day will be explained later in another pic.)
While various cities suffered major destruction, Gothenburg’s was a lot more nuanced. In a 30km diameter area around the relatively new Karlatornet Beacon Tower, a the city, though not the people in it, we’re swapped with the same area on a parallel world, where being bodiless is the norm. The city was placed under a transformation field similar to that around the Halfcut Islands or La Ciudad Dulla, with all 900k inside at the time being rendered bodiless. Those inside at the time of the “detonation” were made permanently bodiless, while those entering would become temporarily bodiless, though being granted (with practice) telekinetic skills and the ability to use their hair like appendages provided it was long enough. They were also given the appropriate reproductive organs hidden in either a slit in on their neck, or (in the case of hermaphrodites with both), in their mouths. (The same procedure the Coralans would later get.)
Being from a parallel but nearly identical world, all of the city’s structures were built with just heads in mind, and built to the appropriate scale. Any gear or clothing they had remained with them, though if possible it was adapted to the field as well.
Not long after, heads from around the world such as Evelyn, Peyton, Valentine, and others skilled in the appropriate telekinesis arrived at the city to help render aid, to teach the people who hadn’t figured it out yet how to use their abilities, and to attempt to evacuate the tourists and travelers who weren’t supposed to be there back to their homes and families, though still stuck in the bodiless state with almost no chance of being restored, in part due to the ongoing global crisis and conflict pulling resources.
For those living there though, and those familiar with the city, life started to return to a relative new normal, with the population quickly adapting to the situation and going about their lives, though it was decided to formally change the city’s name to New Gothenburg (Nya Göteborg in the local Swedish language) to reflect its new identity and status.
New Gothenburg would eventually become one of the main locations of resettlement for the Coralan people (including Praza, Oriat, Utrecht, and their families), with over 50k of the nearly 130k Coralans left opting to move there, feeling the purpose built city for the bodiless was the best fit for them.
Despite their changes, the city would once more flourish after the war, becoming as much of a tourist destination as the other TF fields, and a science and magic hub for some of the brightest minds (not that they have much else heh) on the planet.

I also invite comments to hopefully sort out more of the lore of what happened here, so by all means ask questions ^_^
