Heralds of the Dead God reference (by TILLER)
Little is known about the Heralds of the Dead God. These entities wander around through the planes of reality, carrying their master's will.
Their nature is enigmatic, and their abilities are frightening and puzzling. Heralds do not use traditional magic, and their abilities have little in common with those of abyssfighters.
The Heralds aim to form dark pacts with the inhabitants of Arcadia, persuading them to accept the Dead God as their master and honor its name.
The Heralds are powerful enough to stop even the Grim Weeper from completing his task.
They have a capacity to seize a dead creature's soul away from Skandrak, pressuring the soul with a choice of going to the afterlife or coming back to life under condition of serving the Dead God.
