Vent: Lovely morning
I made the base for this years ago. Stumbled upon my sktechbook while doing some cleaning in my room, and couldn't resist to finish it digitally.
Many don't know, but this derg struggles to function normally in real life, always had. Suffers from really, really bad social skills, which prompted him to withdraw completely from other people (with the exception of people online).
Last month attempted to join one of these courses for unemployed people, but dropped out because people yelled at him and then got snubbed on. Got yelled twice for mistakes I didn't commit, and when I proved i did everything ok nobody apologised... Pic here exemplifies the feeling of having to wake up early only to experience again the reason what made him withdraw from what others can call a normal life.

Recently did this one morning at a job that involved 2 people that were monsters to work with. I got up and said "fuck it I'm done" and didn't go in. I've never worked in a place before that had co workers this vile before and I'm 40 years old. It wasn't managment or the job site. It was two co workers. Nah no thanks. I'll go work somewhere else.
I find myself in situations in real life where I end up arguing with people for reasons that to me seem pretty insignificant. My mentality when facing a problem is looking for a solution (specially when I caused the problem). People seem more kin on arguing (pointlessly) about it or picking on me excessively for something. I just rather quit. When I blow up people sh¡t themselves and then the problem becomes even bigger.
I don't know, maybe it's just me but pre 2020 people used to moderate their contempt and hostility towards others. Today it seems forgiveness and patience are non existant.

You may be correct in saying this. I've always wondered if people's reliance on phones has tainted our society's grasp on interacting with each other. These new generations were raised by phones. Always interacting with people through text to the point that now, most people don't know how social interactions work when face to face. And as I said, I've never had instances like this before until just now. I do believe phones have set us back with social behaviors with each other.

Certainly the fact people spends a lot more time on their phones than interacting with eachother has had its negative effect on how they interact with others. I'm 32 but I am one of those type of people who doesn't like phones very much (unless there's nothing else to focus my attention on).
I don't know... I've been socially awkward since I was born basically and i felt people treating me differently because of it. It's my perception of things so I can be easily on the wrong, but that's how i feel it. Before people realize i was weird, but just pretended they didn't care (not everybody does that of course) but now it's like they are fully disgusted when talking to you. u__u

I can relate... I worked in a Machine factory, my shift began at 5 AM, I had to get up at least 03:40AM, get a coffe or two in, listen to the news at 4AM and drive for 45 min to said factory.
They pay was loveley...11,83 per hour, before taxes.
Most of the time I worked there on an Trumpf EHT with an buddy. Our Operator left and was replaced, from there the quality decreased, material, maintenance, work time(or time per piece) and customer wishes.
Big oof came the day the other shift stacked 75 gearbox pieces together and we did the other 25. Hint, we had no access to the blueprint of the finished piece. 100 pieces went to the welders. Welders: Boss the parts are not fitting... Boss: Just ajust the Welding bot... 100 pieces got welded. Next you had to press the pieces to set measure, again no blueprint of the finished pieces. 100 pieces got pressed. Next and final step before shipping to a different factory, laser holes in it to make room for the future gears inside. There was the finished blueprint and there the mess was revealed. The other shift stacked the pieces on the wrong side, the gears wont fit. The operator pissed but tryed to salvage, the bright idea, cut the welded spot open and redo it... after they tried that with one piece, it flung open, do to the welding forces and killed an cnc machine head. Total cost of this mess, about 360k. We all got yelled at till I asked to see where we can see a blueprint of the finished piece... case closed.
The, I'm out here, for me was when my work buddy lost a finger do to cheap maintenance...
The Deutschland is awful...
Have a hug from me as well, friend.
*hugs*
