Anyways, here goes some alien facts:

SPECIES INFO

As it's pretty obvious, this race evolved in a huge jungle. To make it simple, their environment is pretty much like Pandora (save for the glowy things) only they are much closer to the bottom in the food chain than the Na'vi :P
They are exclusively carnivorous and avid predators, consuming pretty much anything smaller than them (and bigger than them too, when hunting in groups). They tend to be serious and quiet but have aggressive outbursts when confronted and solve not few problems with brief and explosive exchanges.
This species has developed a set of very sensitive appendage along the spine which serve both as camouflage and accurate vibration sensors. To hunt, they crouch in the crook between a branch and a tree trunk and spring on any prey which wanders too close. This camouflage also protects them from predators and other creatures they might need to avoid.
Individuals grow moss and other vegetable life in their feelers to increase the camouflage effect, which is achieved by wrapping them in humid clothes while they are at home.
When not hunting, feelers are also commonly decorated with stones, seeds or metal ornaments and arranged in different loose knots, both for aesthetic purposes and to keep them off their faces (which is considered extremely impolite when talking to other individuals).
The skin tone varies slightly between different territories and clans, but always remains between the scales of greens.
Their markings, on the other hand, are unique to each individual and can vary greatly. From strips to spots, small, large, regular, symmetrical or random, they can be lighter or darker than the base colour, but they tend to stand out quite noticeable in either case.
Female and males share all physical traits, females being slightly smaller, and equal social status too.

SOCIAL ASPECTS

Their society is arranged in clans (between 200 and 300 individuals) with an extremely strict hierarchy, standard to all clans. The relationship between them varies, but most tend towards tolerance over conflict, territorial disputes hardly ever happening.
Despite the pyramidal structure, individuals hold a high degree of independence inside the clan, so authority is only stepping in when there is a problem which affects the entire clan.
Nuclear families generally consist of two grown up males and two grown up females plus the children they might be rising, which remain with the family until they form one of their own.
Their technology is quite basic but they have developed a good level of iron and copper work, along with advanced wood and stone working, clothes making and basic vapor machines.
Commerce is extensive for clothes, tools, artisan crafts in general, and other manufactured goods, leaving out prime matter, which is highly abundant for all nuclear families.

It was more extensive than the previous one (and included more social aspects) because the big writing revolves more around the other race than this one, so I wanted to tell pretty much all about it here.
