[DnD] Predator and Prey
Okay so these two, THESE TWO have been haunting my brain for the last year or so. And they've had quite the developing journey. Originally they were two ocs for Tolkiens world I made up. The drow here? yeah he used to be one of Elrond's archer elves. All pale and long black hair, typical Tolkien elf personality. Hobbit dude, honestly haven't changed that much haha. But used to be a diplomat between the elves and the hobbits for trade and what have you.
But I decided that I wanted them in my own lil DnD world I'm slowly building. So I turned them into a Lolth Drow and a Stout Halfling, poured some angst over them and voila!
Names for them that I literately came up with while writing this, because who need names, pffh:
Halfling: Cicero Hayward
Drow: Morcai Daedelos
A summary of what I got so far story-wise: Morcai was part of a group of Lolth worshiping drow elves. He was sent out to find sacrifices for their Lady, and she craved halfling at the time, so he went out to a village of them. He grew up isolated and thought the sun-dwellers were awful beings - met Cicero and others and realized that no, the Underdark cult he grew up in was the bad one. So he didn't want to go back, but they sent out a huntress after him, got him back together with Cicero as a sacrifice. But he helped Cicero escape, but was stuck himself, and thus branded as a traitor, got that lovely scar on his face, and couldn't escape himself until a few years later.
This is a reunion piece!
