The unearthly sounds echoed from beneath the ice, a deep noise that made his paws shake against the ice as something dark in visage appeared from the deep blue beneath him. It took him sometime to realise what he was seeing, before his eyes lit up like the stars that reflected against the ice.

It was a whale!

The ice across the ocean was thick enough and present at Winters coldest point for him to be able to stand across it, and seemingly, for the large oceanic creature to swim below it. Its call seemed almost like an invitation, in the loneliness of night - Macgyver would be a fool to ignore his newfound large friends beckoning.

So alone, with Ghostface sleeping back in the sea caves - Macgyver bounded across the ice listening to the whooshing, booms and crackling of ice and the heavenly song of the whale below the ice.
