Sam got some new pants, with a hook in the back for his big ol' tail.
He loves it! Way better than trying to squeeze it through awkward holes in the back.

I won't lie, this picture was a challenge, but an important one to do. I know it looks simple, but it actually stumped me quite a few times. Since I'm still learning, most of the time when I do art, I closely follow another picture as a reference; however, this one I was mostly flying solo. I did look up some pictures of RL people facing away, how tails would realistically come out of the lower back, and what a thumbs up would look like from this angle. A toughie for sure, but I definitely need to start relying on references less, so it'll only get easier!

Thank you! I loved the original Twitter post so I've made it an IC thing, figured it would be a cute thing to draw.
Yeah, anatomy is really tough, especially in atypical poses. "Leaning forward facing away and lifting an arm up to thumbs up" is just not a very common thing, but sometimes you can find similar references and at least get a good idea.
... but yes I kind of wish we could all just be stick figures sometimes.
