So sorry that it’s taken me so long to comment here, this month has been quite a busy one for me. But again, I’d like to thank you so very much again for such an amazing art piece! As always, the way you capture the essence and the atmosphere of the scenery that you draw is nothing short of incredible! I absolutely love how cozy and domestic this piece feels even though it’s meant to take place within a fantasy castle/palace of sorts, and how evocative all the details make it feel. It’s like you could hear the diligent scratching of the scribe’s pen against paper as he records what might surely be important notes in his book, and feel the cool breeze wafting in from the sea as it makes the curtains on the window flutter about… And even without seeing much else of the room around him, the space itself that we can see here really feels very familiar and lived in. Like the look of the stationary utensils sitting nearby on the desk, and the framed floral portrait hanging on the wall to give the room a little pop of warmth and color to offset the otherwise primarily neutral tones. It’s clear that he feels very at home here, as he enjoys a nice glass of wine and the company of his feathered companion perched upon his shoulders while he busies himself with his writings. The amount of detail in this is just incredible, the metallic sheen of the armor he wears and the seal stamp on the desk, the marble texture of the walls to give that sturdy yet sophisticated look to them, and the carved look and feel of the wooden chair he sits in… It feels like you can already learn a lot about him and who he is just from all the little bits and pieces depicted here, and I really adore that kind of storytelling just through visuals alone! And that view from the window is just wonderful, especially the way the landscape and the sea beyond seems to stretch into the vast distance and the look of the plants growing just right there outside! This is such an amazing piece, very nicely done all around on this~ 🥰🥰🥰
