Interviewers are overly sensitive to negativity. Talking about "bad" things during an interview may be seen as off topic or cause you to become associate with the "bad" thing. Think about the phrasing of work/life situations. Using "why are you leaving your current position?" interview question as an example:
"My coworker's are jerks." --> "I am looking for something different within the company culture."
"I do not like my job." --> "I have been working with them for a while and decided to look around, see what other opportunities are out there."
"I got divorced and lost ownership of the house. I just moved out, but the closest affordable apartment is an hour away from my current job, so I am looking for work on this side of town." --> DO NOT TALK ABOUT ALL THAT! Go with a generic "I am looking for something new" and move on with the interview.
