Here are some cornflowers that I made this afternoon, I think it's one of my favorite flowers.
They have a bluish color that I really love!
I still remember when I was a child, I saw these flowers with poppies in the fields near my house, it brings back good memories.

Unfortunately, this flower is starting to be threatened.
Nature is as fragile as glass, so take care of it.
I hope you like it, and of course i wish you a good week-end!

Thank you so much Tempus! and yes i've made this flowers out of glass ^^ , it took me a lot of patience to make it.
To be honest a coworker that i know learn me how to do them, and before posting this one, I did several tests. Some were very bad, and the glass was so thin that I even broke some.

Of course! I will try to do my best to explain to you!
For the flower stems, I took Ø6mm green glass rods which I stretched with a flame to refine them and which I then twisted to give these twisted shapes.
For the buds, I first made an ovoid shape in transparent glass, then i apply dark green on top of it. That's quite the same technique that i used on this piece i make before

And finally, for the blue flower I first started by making the petals separately, and then I weld them together.
Here's a project I'm working on right now ► https://ibb.co/b596Hkq
As you can see here ,I'm making the leaves of the tree separately before welding them onto the branches of the tree. I often apply this technique even on flowers!

That's amazing! The buds look particularly realistic!
Have you ever seen the carved jewel and precious metal flowers of the House of Faberge? Most were botanically accurate and were set into cut crystal vases to heighten the realness of them. Your glass flowers has them beat!

I know about Fabergé eggs, but I didn't know they also made flowers. And wow...the details are incredible! especially the dandelion, I can't imagine the skills it takes to do that...it's unbelievable.
Thank you very much for this discovery!
Glass is much easier to work with than you think, Fabergé has exceptional know-how!
And once again ,thank you very much for your feedback!

I am sincerely happy that you like my work.
It's never too late, I definitely recommend looking for glass blowers near you.
Give them a call, most of them really love showing off their work, like me.
And you're welcome, it's always a pleasure for me to share my work, and your comment made me very happy!
