day 15's prompt was apple cider. and i've begun resuming my fallout brainrot. but i also have this disease where if i don't draw ponies once every month i'll die. so... fallout equestria au. (Full disclosure: i have not actually READ that fanfiction, but i've watched a few lore videos about it.) ... ok so i also put like a WEIRD amount of thought into the designs, so im going to talk about it here.

the supermutant analog in fallout equestria is forced alicorns-- however the alicorns are still relatively normal looking-- being slender with manes. the only difference really being noticeable in the fact that they ARE alicorns in the first place. i think that kind of diminishes some of the body horror inherent in the FEV, and it feels like a bit of a copout imo, so i made fawkes a hairless/featherless muscly alicorn.

i made the pony version of my oc a unicorn instead of a pegasus-- since unicorns seem to be a bit more academically focused, and that's a big part of my fallout si's character.

charon i'm most pleased with. i figured the contract could possibly use that same sort of magic that starlight glimmer uses in the cutie map! and i made him an earth pony, since that seems to be the most on-brand for somebody as no-nonsense as charon. if i were to redesign that, i may try futzing with his colors a little bit, but i'm still pretty please with it!
