Yes, it's been like this for a few months now. If the account is tagged as nsfw it won't show any posts and now defaults to "this page doesn't exist", regardless if the content is sfw or not. There are a few nitter mirrors that can bypass the account requirement such as nitter.privacydev.net, which works sometimes. Though in this case it shows the thread but the video doesn't exist, so yeah, no real way to watch it without an account.
