All the girl wanted was an opportunity to increase her standing and notoriety among the nobles of the Pokemon world, and after a private meeting or two at his home base, the Cosmotropolis, the crafty old fox has given her a new eagerness to take the initiative to climb to the top by any means necessary- in exchange for a bit of financial support in his own endeavors. She denies any involvement with criminal organizations, of course, that wouldn't do for a lady.
But rumors have begun to spread about how Ms. Veronica has already achieved the rank of Viscountess at so young an age, after purchasing the title from another noble family whose patriarch recently lost his fortunes to gambling...
