Their pelts look like a night sky, with stars that decorate them. The stars can separate and form a duplicate, which the glitch saber can then swap places with.

The creator likes displacer beasts a lot, so glitch sabers are inspired by them. But the creator wanted to make their own take on a similar creature that was different enough to be their own. Same general body layout, but altered appearance, and a new powerset. (and aren't restricted by trademark)
