Let me break down why this picture is so horrible.

The inking is really thick, wobbly, and inconsistent. It looks like some drunk comic artist decided to make a doodle because they couldn't think of anything else to do.
Zar's back is really disproportionate & misshapen, as is her shoulder & arm, ears, and eye.
The painting is awful. The shading is way too simplistic. I overused blurring. Fuck, a five year old could do better.
The metal in the collar has no texture.
Her shoulder tuft looks like something you would find under a couch.
You can't see her glasses.
The eye doesn't have enough detail, and it's WAY too thick.
There is little to no texture in any of the fur or hair, which I was trying to attempt to do.
The background is completely unrealistic and needs FAR more detail.
The table thing is way too simplistic to look like anything that it was supposed to.
The shading doesn't emulate a third dimensional feel at all. It's like a 12 year old who just learned what shading was went over the picture.
The highlights are just as unrealistic. No one's hair shines like that at all, nor does it shine in a shade different than its base colour.
The blush is disgusting and really shouldn't even be stuck in there in the first place. Not only does it ruin the mood, but it kills the colour scheme.

Then pick one of those problems, and draw a picture that doesn't have it 83
then repeat! so each new drawing has one less problem.
and eventually you'll have less problems 83

knowing what is wrong is important
but doing something about it is important too =)
