Hmmmmm....Interesting writing style. I have no idea what it is called. Focusing on the dialogue gives more emphasis on the characters' thoughts and feelings. Though, I can understand the hesitancy to go to the dentist. Not exactly a fun time. Either way, I liked it!

Ken is pretty aggressive to offer to rip out his boyfriend's tooth. I can't tell if he is joking initially or not. Perhaps Nick is attracted to this masculine leap to action. Seems pretty tragic that he ate too much candy and also wasn't brushing enough. Maybe Ken might want to consider being a little more receptive to Nick's nervousness about his medical problem. Nick does seem pretty eager to forgive him though.

Oh yes, Kenneth can be harsh at times and mince the truth, but he would never hurt his own husband. And about pulling a tooth.... I think that Nikolay received a remark from the Doberman about brushing his teeth not for the first time, and now the patience of the latter has burst with a crack.That's the whole secret. But you are right, Kenny has to learn to keep his emotions in check.

One theory I have is that Ken doesn't want anyone else to touch the body of his lover, even if it's a regular dentist in a normal office. Ken enjoys the prospect of modifying his partner's body, something about this turns him on. And that he himself is the only one that would have permission to do this. The exclusivity of such an arrangement is a major turn on for him.
