Both belong to pachinkolemmings over on deviantart all the credit goes to him. I was inspired to do this after I got his book "imaginary friend" off of amazon and I hope to get the other book soon. But that lead to the inspiration of of these two which were made for fun like a lot of my digibashes and is also a form of thanks in some way

I did this once before but that was horribly outdated and a update was a long time coming, both are noticeably using hearts of steel figures from mastermind creations, well in the bit of lore for this these are simply their cybertronian modes and both are natives of the somewhat peaceful colony planet of paradron which one of its inspirations in my head cannon is one of the landscape details has a British/united kingdom feel with small homey villages and a lot of grasslands and farms

For their role their just normal cybertronians that are neutral to the Autobot decepticon conflict only getting involved occasionally because of wrong place wrong time or they have something of interest or they unexpectedly get roped into a situation

For their origins gully was a created/born with these strange hypnotic abilities he couldn't properly control until he met a mentor figure who would become one of his greatest enemies and becoming his total opposite... "Mindwipe" the decepticon headmaster saw gully as a potential chance to create a future descendent so he could carry on his evil legacy, only for it to fall flat and gully catching on quickly out smarts and turns mindwipe in

Afterwards he would move to paradron where he stayed from there on out until being requested to help a not who had a similar issue to gully when he was first created. This would be woodie and inspired to do be a better role model and mentor to woodie then mindwipe gully began teaching the young bot to control her powers, she still learning to this day but she means well and she is a chipper little bot

As for woodie role gully can defend himself maybe even take on a tough guy in a fight but woodie is much smaller and has to relay on his small size to sneak around a threat or a potential threat. Even though she does have hypnosis powers she hasn't mastered much of it (she still trying to figure out how to free cybertronian from her control with very little success) but this did lead to woodie developing a keep eye and understanding certain details like the best place to escape too or a certain detail on a target that she could up use

A threat got a hanging piece of kibble? Well trick the threat to chase her so it can get caught on a cable to trip it up

Trying to turn on the back up generator but its a mess? Surprisingly simple

Woodie even had a few tales of solving mysteries thanks to her development of a keen eye

But other then that the duo mainly go out and about just entertaining cybertronians alike through stuff like holo-puppets, even showing off their hypnosis abilities. The two are lovers not fighters but they are not completely defenseless and don't be fooled by their harmless nature, if you threat them or their friends they won't stand around and watch that happen

Side notes
In order to add the tails they are made to be holograms that only appear in their robot modes, they do have the ability give these hologram tails collision and disable it at will

Gully side job is working on paradrons railways delivering supplies while woodie often helps when he is needed though stand on paradron if gully is requested to help out outside of paradron

I went with the hearts of steal figures by mastermind creations to fit in with pachinkolemmings world theme

The mysteries woodie would do would largely be inspired by some Nancy drew point and click games but heavily modified with a transformers and pachinkolemmings theme to it
