I need to detroy disks more often.
Had a disk that was annoying me by not burning.. then when it did, it corrupted.. so it met it's end.
I had a magnified flourescent lamp on (hence the white streak through the middle of the remains of the disk and the rest of the colours I essentially formed by messing around bending it some more :)
Taken with my phone and I think it came out rather well... and rather rainbow like :3

I've always wanted to try that! .. been a little worried for the sparks and then explaining to parents why the microwave exploded...
Still, this disk (or the other half of it) had the data like film peeling off and it had peeled giving it a wierd effect too. I want a scaley disk though xD

Microwaved compact discs make the nastiest fumes that you definitely don't want to breathe in but show some awesome patterns
Also some brands seem to cleanly break in half and others make a huge mess of tiny pieces, it's strange
But mostly I use them as frisbees or drink coasters
