Surge the Tenrec is going to kick your ass.
One of those times I just got really caught up in a piece and wouldn't stop until, well... This! It was just supposed to be a warmup sketch before I did anything else, but you know how these things go.
Took most visual cues from Spiderpunk from Across the Spiderverse. Color motifs were largely sampled from the comic itself, particularly during the climatic fight between Sonic and Surge. Also took some snapshots of the comic itself for the middle fill-in.
Fonts used: Phorssa and Vinyl Stickons.
Other fun fact: I used Gene Simmons's hand as a reference for Surge's devil horns hand pose.
