It has been a week since Jamie moved in with Mako. While he hasn't really noticed, Jamie's appetite has been growing thanks to Mako's encouragement. Now that it is the weekend, it is time for more food and video games!

Mako grunted as he scrubbed the rag firmly over the counter. He was never going to be able to get that stain out no matter how hard he tried. SnacX was always one of the first shops to close up at the mall, along with a couple other snack and candy stores. Soon, the rest of the store would follow. It was just a waiting game till he could clock out. Luckily he wouldn’t be bored out of his mind as he spotted a fresh face approaching.
Jamie was coming across the court from the electronics shop. It had been a little over a week now since he moved in with Mako. The sight of the scrawny man made Mako smirk.
While Jamie was skin and bones when they first met, the young man now had a bit of a healthier look to him. His work shirt didn’t look extremely baggy anymore at least and his ribs weren’t so easy to see either. Even his arms looked a bit thicker, though not by much.
After finally getting him to eat some last week from the usual food court sweep and gaming night, Jamie had been eating a bit more. Mako was making sure to slip Jamie something small time to time when he cooked. He learned that Jamie had some sort of aversion to a large meal but he’d take small bites here and there.
“Oi, Mako!” Jamie waved with a big goofy smile on his face. “Mind if I come do that sweep with ya?”
“You wanna grab the food with me?” Mako blinked in surprise. “You can join in if ya wanna but don’t you have another hour at work?”
“It’s pretty dead in there. Winny took off early even. Sucks he can’t hangout tonight. Feels like he should have been ya roommate.”
Mako chuckled. “Yeah, wanted him to move in but he stuck in a lease with a few roommates of his own. Maybe one day.” He smirked down at Jamie. “I already text all the guys about the food. We just gotta pick it up once work is done.”
Jamie let out a sulking whine as he leaned against the counter. Mako was annoyed as Jamie scratched at the faded ‘forever stain’ on his counter. He still wasn’t sure what the hell that stain was.
Turning to his work station, Mako grabbed a freshly washed blender and started to fill it with some frozen strawberries and banana slices. Soon, Mako was blending together the treat and pouring it into a large cheap cup.
Jamie peered up at the drink before lifting his head to look at Mako. “Strawberry banana smoothie. Drink up.” Mako said as he stabbed a straw into the lid.
“What’s this for?” Jamie questioned.
“Something to hold you over until we can get home and eat. Don’t need ya going hungry.” He smirked as he started to wash out the used blender.
Jamie stared at the smoothie for a long moment before finally taking it with a shrug. Muttering a thanks after a long slurp, Jamie marched back off across the court to work.
After what felt like an eternity, Jamie was eagerly bounding back towards SnacX. Mako couldn’t help but grin as Jamie was still slurping on the smoothie. The two started for the food court and one by one, grabbing paper and plastic bags full of food.
On the ride home, Jamie drove a little faster then usual. Mako was scrunched up in the passenger seat. Even with the seat adjusted all the way back, he was still a bit too large for Jamie’s small car. Mako had to put all the food into the backseat since there was no room under his legs like how it was in Winston’s truck. Jamie commented on how good his car smelt for once with all the food inside. Mako was sure the smell was making Jamie hungry because the man sucked down the last of his smoothie finally, looking annoyed he didn’t have more to drink.
Once home, Mako grunted as he kicked the door shut behind himself. Jamie struggled as he tried to grab one to many plastic bags, not wanting to make a second trip to the car. When he set it all down onto the coffee table, he had marks across his writs.
“Crikey, who knew tacos and chow mien could be so heavy…”
Mako sighed in relief as he leaned over the table and unloaded his burden, not caring that many of the bags were crushing one another and a couple slipping off the edge of the table.
“Gonna grab the beer.” Mako lumbered into the kitchen. “Turn on a game or a movie!” He shouted out as he pulled out an armful of bottles.
Jamie didn’t bother looking at the small collection of DVDs on Mako’s shelf. There were only a handful of movies he had, most of them romantic comedies. Luckily, Mako had a streaming channel he let Jamie use.
Wasting no time starting a thrilling, action packed movie about racing cars, Jamie pulled out a carton of sweet and sour pork, pulling out a plastic fork from the bag. Mako came back into the living room and handed Jamie his beer, putting the rest of the pack on the table.
Mako munched on his vegetable dumplings as he watched the movie. Jamie had moved on from his sweet and sour pork and was sampling a wonton before grabbing a bite out of a beef burrito.
The two men took their time eating. There was no rush. Jamie did get up a couple of times to warm up his food during the movie considering it was all mostly cold by the time they got home. As the movie neared the end, Jamie felt full. He would groan as he took his last gulp of a sausage pizza before flopping back.
“Hehe, stuffed?” Mako chuckled at the miserable looking man.
Jamie would only groan, giving a tired nod. Mako would reach over and his large palm would heavily thud on top of Jamie’s bloated gut. The skinny man let out a pained moan.
“Umph, g-gentle!” He squeaked out.
Mako snorted as he eased some weight off of his hand. He then started to gently rub the bloated stomach, merely grazing his fingers over it. “That better?” He asked, getting a slow nod from Jamie.
Jamie smiled as the tips of the large pointer and middle finger rubbed over the top of his belly. It was far more gentle than he expected from Mako. Sure the giant wasn’t violent or anything but certainly would never expect such a soft and dexterous touch. When he finally started to realize that his roommate was giving him a belly rub, he blushed. Jamie slowly sat up, having ate too much to move really and handed the remote to Mako.
“’Ere, you can watch something.”
Mako lifted his hand and took the remote with a smile. “Alright, mind if I play a game? You can play with me.”
“Oh, no. You play. I might take me a short coma.” Jamie grunted, a small burp rumbling up his throat with a groan.
Even over the span of a two hour muscle car spy thriller, Jamie had managed to eat three plates worth of food. He had picked an assortment of things out of all the containers but it was enough that even Mako was surprised how much he had eaten.
Jamie wiggled a bit in his seat. He got a bit more comfortable, unconsciously moving closer against Mako’s side.
The giant noticed Jamie brushing against his arm but didn’t say anything. With a smile, Mako started his game and began to play. As Mako started his game, his arm would twitch and flex, making Jamie’s shift slightly but not enough that it disturbed either of them.
“What kinda game is this?” Jamie finally asked with a sour face. He could hardly understand what was happening. Mako had a colorful character that looked like a stuffed animal almost. He was running around with an assortment of weapons; pistol, smg, even a crossbow with some medical potions. Wasn’t very realistic since the crossbow was pink and exploded into hearts on impact.
“A battle royale.”
“How are you keeping up with everything on screen?” Jamie asked, squinting at the television.
Mako’s character would be running through a city, a menu and map flashing over the screen. Apparently Mako was checking his location and organizing his weapons. Then he’d get in a fight with two to five random people, all of them with their own odd characters and flashy weapons. It all made Jamie’s eyes hurt.
“Just play a lot and you start to learn.” Mako laughed.
Mako ended up ranking high in his match, or at least Jamie thought so. Fourth place out of a hundred people seemed fantastic. Watching Mako play a few more games, Jamie was starting to get more groggy and tired. All that food was starting to wear him down.
Jamie’s heavy eyes were steadily closing until his attention was drawn in by a deep chuckle. “Don’t want another bite?” Mako teased with a grin. “Could end up looking as good as me if you work hard enough.”
Jamie could help but scoff at that. He stood up, a laborious task with how tired and full he felt. His work uniform was stretched tight across his bloated middle. Jamie hated how tight it felt. He began to take it off as he lumbered to his room, leaving Mako to play his game for the night.
Closing his door and throwing his shirt into his pile of dirty clothes, Jamie couldn’t help but look down at himself. He used to be able to see his ribs. Now his chest had a thin layer of fat on it and his belly was pushing out for once instead of in. It wasn’t much. He had gained only ten pounds at best. He actually looked healthy for once instead of half dead. Giving his tiny gut a pat, Jamie couldn’t help but think about what Mako had said. He wondered what it would feel like to be so big.
