This was when I was a student.
One day a small beehive formed on the balcony of a classroom at school. I thought it was dangerous, so I reported it to the teacher, who removed it while the bee that I thought was the queen was leaving the hive, and then the queen bee returned, but there was nothing where the hive was supposed to be.
The queen bee was frantically searching around the area where the nest had been.
I felt an indescribable aftertaste, even as a child.
