2007-10 Work: Pepper Schnauzer
Like Zero, this was not only a bandwagon critter (soda pup this time), but I also started it years ago and took forever to finish it. I'm so bad about personal projects y'know?
I made the digitigrade legs, feet, handpaws, and tail for a class project in 2007, then made the head in 2010 for FWA. I think he's really cute! I adore that burgundy fur, it's so pettable.
The legs are mounted on a pair of mesh shorts with suspenders. I made full arms after this photo was taken, and they attach much in the same way, with a mesh undershirt. It's a professional method I've observed on mascot costumes, works really great! Head is balaclava as usual, with hidden ventilaton in mouth and ears. Pretty good vision from the eyes.
Anyway, this suit has a new owner now, hope you'll see him running around cons sometime soon. ^_^
