A commission from 2007, it's a cute critter named Subby. Is he a coon? Is he a tanuki? I'm not sure but does it really matter with a sweet face like that? :)
This suit sure got a LOT of use at cons and events!

Some features of this suit include:
-a balaclava based head with open mouth for ventilation
-big expressive buckram eyes
-outdoor feet with sculpted claws
-a separate tail that attaches to the suit via a belt, so it doesn't drag down the back of the costume
-a unique stripe pattern across the shoulderblades that is all sewn into the pattern itself. No applique here!

Also, I am tiny, so I stuffed a couch cushion down in there to pad the suit for the purpose of these photos. That's why the tummy looks a little square in that frontal view. xD
