KATZE grad-film animation test. Animated with GIMP, traced in SAI, toned in Photoshop.
Just testing the digital frame-by-frame animation pipeline with a simple 12 frame shot. Seems to work OK, (tone is actually the fastest part of this process) - just need some file optimisation in the photoshop step and it's good to go.
Here's to my first animation of 2011! May it be my worse.

The production's trundling OK! We're looking at having it clean and coloured in a month or two. Due to festival rules I can't post the entire film for another year, but I'll put up snippets for sure.

Ahh, yeah, I grew up in the city and I'm enjoying the bit of peace and quiet. Bournemouth is the perfect combination of beach, city and country. I absolutely adore the beach. (': Are you living in London now?
