In the tournament of duels on foot Zak the fox pirate had disguised himself as another knight and got caught about this. Now he's given a severe punishment for this by spending time on stocks and then on forced labour, but Sir Kiljaos the lion paladin suggests that Zak would start with forced labour by working as his squire during the tourney. His suggestion is accepted and so Zak becomes Sir Kiljaos's squire, though Sir Kiljaos still isn't overjoyed about the reunion with Zak.
