As much as I don't like spiders, I settle my differences with jumping ones, because - believe it or not - one of the things they prey on is wasps, which I hate more than any spider. You wouldn't think it, but I've seen jumping spiders (particularly Bold Jumping Spiders, which are prominent in my area) legitimately chase wasps before. Little guys are tenacious, you have to give them credit.

They are great. I am trying to get pics of those I find- they have such cool colors. Like lil birds. And another one I found shortly after this willingly jumped on a stick I held out to get them to safety. They are the cats of the spider world XD

They definitely have some of the most complex mating dances of any spider, and can be really cool. I think they're one of the most interesting spiders, simply because of their intricate behavior. They're very intelligent little guys. Between that, and the fact they eat wasps, they're unique to me as being one of the only spiders I neither kill nor catch in a jar, I just leave them be. As long as it doesn't come too close or crawl on me, we can coexist. Ha, now you got me thinking of little spider cats, though. I wonder if you built a miniature table full of tiny cups and random scale objects, if they would sit there and push it all off one by one. Or if you scratch their spider butt, it rises, and they purr.

I saw someone online somewhere make a tiny cat tree and toys for their pet jumpers and they loved it!
